About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker holding a Master’s in Social Work from York University. Prior to coming to Social Work, I did Doctoral work in education and taught at York University and Seneca College. I specialize in working with young adults with mild to moderate depression and anxiety, as well as individuals who identify as LGBTQ2SIA. I also provide services to parents and families supporting young people in distress. I use multi-modal therapies including psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy. My practice is fiercely queer friendly, sex positive and anti-racist. I meet with clients in my office near Downsview Station and in the community. Managing anxiety and depression
I can help you understand your emotional world and help you to learn to manage, cope with and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. I use psychoanalytic exploration, narrative therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy to help individuals reduce the distress they experience on a daily basis.

Whether you're experiencing conflict in your family, or you're concerned about your child, or you're trying to understand your family member's identity on the LGBTQ2SIA spectrum, I offer counselling services to families in the form of consultations as well as on-going support work.
